Career

John Turner’s research focuses on the long-run evolution and development of banking, banking crises, bubbles, and financial markets. He’s an award-winning author, has held several distinguished visiting positions at the Bank of England and Harvard Business School and was elected a Fellow of the Academy of Social Sciences in 2018.
