Career

Jill’s research focuses on comparative analyses of employment systems with a specialisation in gender and labour market structure. She has acted as an advisor to numerous UK, European and world institutions and has expertise on topics including minimum wages, gender equality, the organisation of employment, social inclusion and economic sociology. She was made a fellow of the British Academy in 2006.
