Career

Charlotte has more than 15 years’ experience working in higher education, the majority of which have been managing UK and EU-funded research consortiums at The University of Manchester. During her career, Charlotte has managed research from a variety of disciplines, most recently, The ESRC International Centre for Language and Communicative Development (LuCiD), a UK-based research collaboration working with partners across the world and Dialogue About Radicalisation and Equality (DARE), an H2020 EU-funded research consortium with partners in 13 countries.

Charlotte is also a qualified teacher and worked for six years as a teacher and senior leader at a Manchester primary school.
