Productivity Puzzles podcast launched

The Productivity Institute is excited to announce the launch of its podcast series, Productivity Puzzles.

Hosted by Bart van Ark, managing director of The Productivity Institute and Professor of Productivity Studies at The University of Manchester, the series will take a deep dive into why productivity matters and examine how it can it drive business success, economic recovery, but also prosperity, wellbeing and inclusive sustainable growth.

The podcast will bring you discussions with leading minds from the UK and abroad about how to improve productivity for almost everything: from health care to car manufacturing, at a national and at regional levels, for business and your own personal productivity.

It will investigate why UK productivity is lower than in many other countries and why there are such large differences in productivity across and within the regions and devolved nations. It will also get the best insights from research on smart policies and effective business practices to increase productivity and find out how this will drive prosperity, wellbeing and inclusive sustainable growth.

As Nobel prize-winning economist, Paul Krugman, once quipped: “Productivity isn’t everything, but in the long run it is almost everything.”

Sponsored by Capita, Productivity Puzzles is available wherever you get your podcasts. Please subscribe to make sure you don’t miss out on the upcoming episodes.
