This Yorkshire, Humber and North East Productivity Forum event will explore how good people management practices can contribute to improvements in firms’ productivity and employee wellbeing.

The Yorkshire, Humber and North East Productivity Forum, led by Sheffield University Management School, is running an event that will bring together business leaders, HR professionals, policymakers and academics to discuss how good people management practices can contribute to improvements in firms’ productivity.

Attendees will be able to participate in an interactive industry expert panel debate, exploring the relationship between productivity and people management practices, and hear about how the practices of innovative firms from across the region have enhanced their business performance.

The event will also discuss how skill needs within the region are changing and what employers, policy makers and others might do to support skills development, increase training activity and promote ‘good work’.

We’re very pleased to announce that Peter Cheese, Chief Executive of The Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development will be keynote speaker and there’ll also be the opportunity to gain insights into the latest research on productivity and skills in Yorkshire, the Humber and North East.
