National Productivity Week will return from 27 April – 1 May 2026, bringing together researchers, policymakers, business leaders, and practitioners for a nationwide programme of events focused on improving productivity and delivering better outcomes for people, firms and places. Find out more by visiting the National Productivity Week website.
Now in its third edition, National Productivity Week 2026 will highlight the latest evidence on the factors shaping productivity across the UK. The week will showcase new reports from TPI’s seven research programmes, covering skills, job design, business innovation, finance and investment, urban productivity, and the diffusion of knowledge and capabilities.
A series of flagship events will anchor the week, including events in London and Manchester, and a dedicated podcast series around each of the three pillars: People, Firms and Places. These activities will be complemented by a broad range of regional events delivered by TPI’s nine Productivity Forums, each bringing local perspectives and priorities into the national conversation.
